Actualización de Blue Circle Health de mayo de 2024. Concientización

Jonathan Fuller, mayo, 2024

To our Partners & Friends,

It’s been a busy few months, and I’m pleased to share an update on Blue Circle Health and our work to help people with type 1 diabetes (T1D) thrive.

We’ve taken big steps in our recruitment efforts. We’re no longer recruiting exclusively via partnerships with federally qualified health clinics. We are now raising our brand awareness, building community connections, and expanding our footprint with providers, health systems, and advocacy groups. Every individual we serve further motivates us in our daily work. Many of you have walked (or run!) with us along the way, and we’re grateful for your collaboration. Key highlights include:

Building our presence on social

We’re ramping up our social channels to further connect with and engage the T1D community. Like, share and follow us on FacebookInstagramLinkedIn and YouTube. A sincere thanks and welcome to those who have joined our community already!

Collaborating with T1D community leaders

We’re proud to have established partnerships with Beyond Type 1, a patient advocacy group, and Sunshine Health, a Medicaid health plan, who are sharing information about our program with their members in Florida.

One example of these partnerships in action is Beyond Type 1’s Community Table featuring our own Dr. Monica Gomberg about “Finding the Right Endo.” You can watch it here, in case you missed it! We have several other exciting partnerships with like-minded leaders in development to support the T1D community. If you’re interested in discussing a potential collaboration, we’d love to hear from you.

Supporting providers

We’re reaching out to clinics and health systems across Florida to introduce Blue Circle Health as an extension of their care teams for people with T1D. To date, patients have been referred from nearly 70 clinics across the state – from coast to coast and from the panhandle to the Keys.

Adding expertise

We’re also thrilled to share that Michael A. Harris, PhD (Oregon Health & Science University) has joined our esteemed group of advisors. We owe a special thanks to these experts, who have been instrumental in the design of our program.

Empowering people with T1D

There are 193 people currently enrolled in our program. 47 participants are now Full Circle. Each person’s individual care plan is tailored to their unique needs, and a participant becomes Full Circle once they have completed their personalized program.

Supporting an individual through our program is humbling and rewarding, and hearing feedback about the impact of our work is incredibly motivating.  In the words of Natalia, “With Blue Circle Health, my diabetes doesn’t control me anymore.” You can watch her testimonial here.

Thank you, everyone, for your ongoing support!
