Drew Mendelow, creator of T1D1, joins Blue Circle Health to explore how an idea born from everyday diabetes math became a free, FDA-cleared insulin calculator app.

Calculating insulin doses is part of daily life for many people with type 1 diabetes. That doesn’t mean we should have to carry all that work without helpful, accessible tools. Diagnosed at 13, Drew wondered whether he could build something to make it easier and started learning how.

Together, we’ll explore what T1D1 offers people using multiple daily injections, how Drew learned to build an app, and what it took to earn FDA clearance with support from the diabetes community.
